There are no accidents, only Inkcidents! Ink Kawara
These images where captured by the humble telescope. Scientific research that they are evidences of artistic intelligence at industrial office space. Research has revealed that this parts of the universe, refereed to as Ïnky ways” by Professor Ursula Diaz Granados, are proof that there is always something to do with the wasted ink you have to spill.
This drawings were made with the leftovers of the industrial process of filing ink cartridges on recycled office paper, made by the Inkgineer and artist Ink Kawara, at the end of every cycle of his task of filing printer cartridges.
The inversion of the colors is done with digital software processing. This drawings are a diary of the duality of the situation of a part time artist working at an industrial context. They are a poetic inkproductive artistic insertion in the industrial office space. Inkverting the logic of productivity into “"inkproductivity” The alchemy art of turning dark into light, and the light into dark.
Someone said we are born with a small ink container. It's up to us to use it as best as we can, to write the story of our life. Use yours as good or better than Ink Kawara, the author of this series.
More than 1000 inky ways have been found at an industrial facility, made by employer Ink Kawara before his recent retirement from his part time job. The digital exhibition will be hopefully posted soon at this space, as soon as the artists family authorize us to advance the digitalization of the work.
